La Syrah Tenuta Lenzini 2021 - Tenuta Lenzini

This Syrah Tenuta Lenzini comes from 100% Syrah grapes. The vine is native to the Rhone Valley, but this one that has found a home in the hills of Lucca is a true Tuscan and it is well suited to the sandy, sunny and windy soil of this corner of Tuscany, in the east of the city of Lucca and not far from the Tyrrhenian coast. This red wine undergoes spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in tonneaux and malolactic fermentation in large barrels, followed by bottling without filtration. It then matures for 24 months between large French oak casks and tonneaux. The result is a generous fruit that seduces all palates with its spicy aromas.The Estate extends for 23 hectares, of which only 13 are planted with vines, and are located in the area defined as Lucca Biodynamic. Since 2007 they have been managed in biodynamic agriculture using only sulphur, copper and vegetable preparations. The winery was born with the idea of making healthy and genuine wines, produced in harmony with nature and the surrounding environment. The production philosophy always tries to bring to the fore the varietal character of the vines and the influence of the terroir, with minimal intervention in the cellar.
