Munjebel CR is a Nerello Mascalese from the Campo Re vineyard, which for years has been included in the blend of Contadino. This is the first year that Frank Cornelissen has vinified the best part of the vineyard separately, with a surprising finesse and a well-defined fruit fragrance. The bunches have not yet reached a perfect phenolic maturity, but this is able to produce very deep wines, especially in dry vintages.
